Electricidad San Martin

Since 1964, we have known what we do. From the day we opened our doors, we established direct and professional contact with our clients.

This trust and spirit of service have transformed us into national leaders in the electrical materials distribution market. “Give me a foothold and I will move the world” is the phrase of Archimedes that the founder of the company, Don Pablo Paonessa, used to say frequently, and it reflects the energy he brought to his work, thus transmitting an example of life and a path to follow.

Challenges are our everyday language, and we face them with the same energy as 50 years ago, the same dedication and the same spirit of service. The ultimate goal, today enhanced by San Martin’s innovation and technological diversity, is to provide the best service and the highest quality.

Throughout our history, we have grown alongside our clients, contributing to their ventures, sharing their concerns, anticipating their needs and responding immediately to their requirements. From the beginning, we understood that personalized attention, a constantly trained and highly professional team, together with efficient work mechanisms that avoid cost increases and excellent logistics service, are the basis of an excellent relationship with our clients.

One of the most important pillars of San Martín is our people. Highly trained, committed, specialized people willing to deliver the best solutions.

In addition, since 2007 we have confirmed the quality of our service through ISO-9001 Certification. However, we know that trust is achieved day by day, through personal contact and keeping our word. Therefore, our main guarantee is you.

Explosion-proof Products Scame

Scame informs that it has recently acquired the new Ex II 2GD (Gas and Dust) certification for the ADVANCE GRP EX [2GD] and OPTIMA EX [2GD] series through the INERIS certification body. In this way, it covers the range of plugs and sockets from 16 to 125A suitable for classified areas 21/22 (Dust) and zones 01/02 (Gas).

ATEX equipment can be used in areas with potentially explosive atmospheres.

Companies that work in areas with an explosive atmosphere must follow the directives to protect employees from explosion risks.

There are two types of ATEX directives (one for the manufacturer and one for the user of the equipment):

The ATEX 95 equipment directive 94/9/EC. It regulates equipment and protection systems whose intention is for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
The ATEX 137 workplace directive 99/92/EC. It sets out the minimum requirements for improving the protection of the safety and health of workers exposed to risks arising from explosive atmospheres.

The regulations apply to all equipment intended for use in explosive atmospheres, whether mechanical or electrical, including protection systems.
